Radiant: Guardians of Light

Take up the sword and the light in Radiant: Guardians of Light, a 2D fantasy action RPG of fast combos, elemental magic and huge boss fights.

More than a hundred years ago, the hero chosen by the spirit of light was corrupted by war and became Gultar, the adept of darkness who now rules the kingdom of Helia. Today Ainar only wants one thing: to bring back his little sister, Alina, taken by bandits. But when a fragment of the spirit of light chooses him, his search turns into a quest to free the whole kingdom.

The adventure

Fight your way through more than 50 side-scrolling levels, from Crab Island and the plains of Adran to the Igdral Forest, the Fields of Ralegost and the city of Helix. Purify the elemental spirits held by Gultar's heralds and face five great boss battles, with animated cutscenes and an original soundtrack along the way.

A village to come back to

Between battles, return to a village full of odd characters: Gildart, a blacksmith who is half troll, half dwarf and half human; Grissel, a potion master still looking for a cure for an accident that happened a hundred years ago; Rolant, a talking cat and professional hunter; and Captain Roberts, a retired pirate whose tavern is full of mercenaries for hire.

Combat

• Chain combos and launch enemies into the air
• Roll out of danger and dash through the crowd
• Unleash elemental blasts and a special attack when your elemental bar is full
• Switch at any moment between Ainar's sword and the magic of Quinn, the pink-haired apprentice of the legendary sorceress Ophana

Build your hero

Like any good action RPG, Radiant lets you shape your hero your way:

• Craft and upgrade swords, helmets and armour at Gildart's forge
• Equip pendants with magical abilities
• Spend skill points to grow stronger
• Get potions for a temporary boost, materials from the hunters and mercenaries from the tavern
• Follow main, side and daily quests, and travel between the portals you discover

More ways to play

• Colosseum: survive wave after wave of enemies and earn its rewards
• Rogue mode: randomly generated rooms, shrines with more than 40 skills to choose from, mercenaries and bosses. No two runs are alike
• Local co-op: share the story or a Rogue run with a second player on a controller
